Doing alright. Time doesn't seem to go at normal speed. Six days have gone by since I came back and it honestly doesn't feel that way. Probably because I haven't really done much.
I survived the party, actually came out with quite a bit of money. Yay graduation gifts. And it was nice to see some of the relatives I don't normally get to see. Talked to Kai that day too--was very nice to hear people are still alive in Columbus (LJ tells me things but it's better to hear it from a voice, no?).
Since then, I've slept, watched movies, read books, driven the siblings around, and eaten. Got to rewatch Shrek 2. Still lots of fun. Also got to see Mona Lisa Smile in full...decided the first half was good but the second descended far too much into soap opera for me.
And my sister and I have been bonding. First, we're slowly working our way through the six seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that I now own (picked up Season Six last week). We've finished Season One and are starting Season Two tonight. And today we went shopping (I had just visited the eye doctor and was therefore unable to bear sunlight). She made me buy this dress that I'll admit is really cute, but I have no idea if it actually looks good on me...
(She seems to think so. But we'll see.)
At any rate, not much else. It's very hot here. And my mother's cat is still fat. Some things just don't change. ;)
