Well, more original than election porn. (The basset idea, _not_ the song! That's on the negative section of the originiality spectrum.) The dogs seem to enjoy it and the owner just got his 5 minutes of fame.

I've got to give it to the US-americans: they wring so much more fun out of elections than I've ever seen over her in the old world.

To be fair, part of the hilarity stems from the fact that we own a basset hound, and we've got an Obama sign up near where she likes to sit by our fence and flirt with passers-by. ;)

Now _that_ I'd like a picture of. The bassets on the video are really cute and one of it has his lips (or whatever you call those on a dog) blowing in the wind. They look like the most patient, kind dogs in the world.

Oh, yes, the floppy yawn was one of my favourite bits. That, and the goggles, because a) it means he loves his dogs and doesn't want them getting bugs impacted in their eyes, and b) hilarious.

Awwww... utterly cute. The fur looks incredibly shiny, too, which AFAIK means she's very healthy. I can imagine her to be world-class flirter.

LOL. I do when I can. And, yes, she's an absolutely world-class flirt, mostly because she is completely aware of how adorable and charming she is and not afraid to use it for all sorts of nefarious ends. Mostly involving stealing food.
