lareinenoireI really *really* don't want to go to class tomorrow.
First of all, I still don't have my Anthropology book. Knowing my luck, the one bookstore on campus that I didn't revisit probably has them, but as I've already ordered it from Barnes and Noble.com (for $35 less than the asking price), I just have to sit tight and wait for it to show up. Of course, this means I'm already behind on my reading. After the first week of classes.

My art history class is fascinating. Really. I just wish there was some way of doing all the readings that didn't involve the open/closed reserve desk at the library. Again, haven't done the reading yet, and I'm hoping that the date on the sheet was right when it said they weren't due till Wednesday, as I have time on Tuesday to get to the library.
To top everything off, I'm sick. Rather nastily so. I had to spend most of this past Tuesday wandering all over campus (searching for that @£$%ing Anthropology book) in negative-degree windchill, which only aggravated the cold I'd almost shrugged off during New Years'. I can't breathe, I can't swallow without fairly substantial physical pain, and I've had an on-and-off fever. On the upside, as of today, it's at least better than it was before. I just really wish it was gone.
Eh bien. I'm off to bed now. Hope to feel better in the morning.
