1. Reply to this post if you want/need me to tell you how cool you are!

2. Watch my journal over the next few days for a post just about you and why I think you rock my socks.

3. Post these instructions in your journal and give your friends a much needed dose of love and adoration!

*****

Quick speed-related disclaimer, however. There is a chance I won't be able to get to everyone before Tuesday, which will mean some people won't get replies till after Saturday. This doesn't mean I don't love you--because I do--it just means I'm computerless on the other side of the world at a crazy Indian wedding.

Longest trip I've ever made on my own. Though I'm more nervous about doing something idiotic--like missing the flight--due to lack of sleep...methinks much espresso will be in order, though I will be stuck in Saudi Arabia for a few hours. Maybe they'll have proper Arabica coffee in the airport...

[livejournal.com profile] pureinhell

First and foremost, [livejournal.com profile] pureinhell is adorable. I have never seen a more perfect Generic Anime Girl, right down to the eeping.

She is a hilarious writer. Who else can possibly manage to turn a cannibalistic cooking show into a wonderful one-act? I'm just sad I hadn't the chance to properly see it. And, though I have not had the chance to work with her as a director, every comment I've heard her make has been precisely on the mark.

And, lastly, she draws very good turkeys, especially the poor freezing cold ones. ::grin:: Not to mention Bush spreading good traditional values like smallpox. I nearly burst a lung laughing when I read that.

Gakked the icon from [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda as well. So tempted on Cousin, but [livejournal.com profile] rosamund got there first. And there are far worse things to settle for than Snape.

So incredibly amused.

[livejournal.com profile] alstaria

So, I first met [livejournal.com profile] alstaria in 2001 when she was the matriarchal third of the Ardensteins. And I remember her from the Twelfth Night audience! Makes me warm and fuzzy.

Anyway, I didn't get to know [livejournal.com profile] alstaria at all until this year, when we "ran into" one another over LJ.

She's warm and caring and finally has a job where her intelligence and body of knowledge are being put to use. She's a wonderful writer of both fanfiction and original fiction. I look keenly forward to the next chapters of "The House."

As far as I'm concerned, any fan of Avenue Q, Jon Stewart, Elizabeth I, and the Bard ranks highly in my book, and [livejournal.com profile] alstaria meets all those criteria.

And though I do not know her so well as I would like, I hope that can be remedied!
