Dear Person Who Just Drove By--

It might be premature aging, or merely a healthy sense of respect for my ears, but is it absolutely necessary for you to have your car stereo playing so loudly that I can hear it through the brick walls of my house? From around the corner? And, for the love of all that's good and happy, why on earth did you insist upon Mariah Carey's 'Dreamlover', thereby planting it in my head where it will live for at least the rest of the day? I didn't even like the song when it first came out!

There is a song that will drive any other song out of your head.

Only trouble is, the cure is worse than the disease.

Oh dear, we have the same around here *Cringes* Although the song stuck in my head, is of the Sugababes variety...*shudders*
